Simple Things...
My top leadership attitudes and values are passion, follow through, and honesty. This is due to the fact that I am a firm believer that it is the smaller actions and intentions that build someone into an effective leader.
Passion: A fire within that drives someone to give it all for something or someone they find important. Without it, the project never will have the depth of success. Doing something superficially will show. Think of a plant, just placing a seed in dirt will not make it grow, attention a nurturing will create a garden.
Follow through: Giving up half way through is detrimental to anything, but it also shows a lack of caring. It's a simple concept, but takes determination, heart, and everything in a person to continue on, even if obstacles lay in the path.
Honesty: Being honest to not only people, but to ones self is vital to growing. It isn't just about lying, but being realistic how much or how far you can go. If you aren't realistic with a project or tell yourself you don't need help, you're setting yourself up to fall.
